Pastor Jeff committed his life to Jesus Christ on May 7th 1993 at about 8:00pm. After wrestling with a rough past, he struggled with genuine relationships and felt isolated and alone. In fact, most of his family had alienated Jeff with the exception of his wife Jodi. Jeff was not a religious guy, but he was hurting on the inside. In an attempt to escape the pressure, loneliness, and pain he contemplated taking his life. It was at this critical moment everything changed… Jeff cried out to Jesus!
There was a radical change in Jeff after coming to Christ. His life took on purpose and meaning, as he learned what it meant to follow Christ.
Jeff and his family attended Horizon Christian Fellowship with Pastor Mike McIntosh in San Diego, California for 10-years. At Horizon they got involved in serving teenage kids in Juvenile Hall and partnered with Bridge The Gap Ministries by reaching out to at risk youth.
Ten years passed and the next chapter began on Thanksgiving of 2003 during a visit to Castle Rock, Colorado. After returning home to San Diego God started working on Jeff’s heart to relocate to Colorado. Within a few months his home sold and the whole family moved to Colorado.
In Colorado, Jeff and his family got plugged into Calvary Chapel Castle Rock, which was a small fellowship of about 25-people. Little did he know, but Castle Rock would become a training ground for ministry. God had a call for full-time ministry on his life and the next seven years God completed that work of brokenness and prepared him to pastor, as the church grew from 25-people to about 1,000 people.
After those seven years another new chapter began. Jeff was called to help at a new church plant in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with Pastor Fernando Ortiz (Mile High Calvary). The next two-years went by in a flash and God revealed that He was now calling Jeff to pastor and plant a church… Westminster, Colorado became that City. The church plant began as a simple Bible study and has grown into a blossoming body of believers.
